When I was a kid, my grandmother washed thin plastic sandwich bags and dried them on a cord in the kitchen. To reuse them. She frequently picked up plastic litter and kept it in her hands till she found a garbage bin, while I was with her.

Her attitude left a deep mark. She taught me not to litter and to use our resources carefully.

When I started to use reusable bags to buy fruits and vegetables for the first time, they got soaked easily and shrank after the first wash.
